Decent hostel near bus station which is helpful. Good beer which makes a change for south america. Bar is fun and a happy balance between a party hostel and a very quiet residencial. we´ll be staying there when we return to la paz.

Stayed in a 3-bed room with my friends. It had its own bathroom/shower and was very quiet. This is the friendliest hostel I've stayed in - the Bolivian and foreign staff were soooo nice and helpful, and we booked our tour to the salt flats through them too. Breakfast was pancakes and you can pay more for eggs/bacon etc. There is a noise restriction in the evening but the bar stays open late and is far away from the rooms.

Everything was amazingly clean and the bar is a great place to sit and chill and hang out with people as everybody makes their way up there (huffing and puffing) at the end of the day for the free pint (which is a brilliant perk by the way.) Pancake breakfast is great for one or two days but it gets a bit old after that which is why they offer to cook you (almost literally) whatever you want...you need only ask. They put up drink specials and they have hostel-organized events. Wi-fi is some of the fastest I have experienced in S. America. Overall a fantastic experience.

Decent hostel. Well run. Is a 10min walk into central La Paz - but wasn´t too much of a problem. Staff are very good and speak good English and always very helpful even when you arrive at 5am. Owned by same person that owners Gravity Bolivia for death road bike tours - so very easy to arrange tours generally. Thumbs up.

This is surely one of the best hostels I have stayed in South America. Its a very clean hostel with friendly staff. The best part is that they serve pancakes for breakfast and also have their own microbrewery in the hostel. The markets and other city attractions are only a 10 minute walk from the hostel. Pamela, was our favourtie staff member. She was so helpful and kind to help us book the Death Road tour the next day at 11pm on the night of our arrival. bus station is only a 5 min walk. Perfect
